Codex Group’s In-Person Medical Scribes work directly alongside healthcare providers to handle real-time documentation. Our professionally trained scribes accompany physicians in the clinic or hospital setting, capturing patient encounters in real-time and ensuring accurate, detailed medical records.
Our in-person scribes work alongside you, capturing every detail of the patient encounter as it happens. This ensures that notes are completed accurately and efficiently, reducing after-hours charting and improving work-life balance.
Our scribes are trained in major electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring seamless integration with your workflow. They quickly navigate templates, enter structured data, and ensure compliance with documentation standards. With certain EHRs, they can even bill the visit at the point of service.
With documentation largely off your plate, you can focus more on patient interactions, leading to better patient experiences, improved clinical decision-making, and reduced burnout.
All our scribes undergo rigorous HIPAA training, ensuring that sensitive patient information remains secure and confidential while meeting all compliance requirements.
Need someone to grab lunch? How about a cup of coffee? Our in-person scribes don't just help with your documentation, they're there to help you better serve patients any way possible.
In certain clinical applications, our scribe can help with patient throughout, taking the place of a medical assistant.

Medical scribes are a non-licensed member of a medical care team. They specialize in medical record documentation and assist the provider with documentation and patient throughput. Our in-person scribes even act as personal assistants by fetching items and running errands; anything that makes your job easier.
Scribes can do your documentation on your behalf, take histories from patients, assist with non-direct care of patients, get coffee, pick up your dry cleaning, etc. The purpose of the scribe is to make your job easier, whatever that may entail.
Scribes cannot do any direct patient care, enter orders, relay verbal orders, or write prescriptions.
With certain EHRs, scribes can bill the visit at the point of service. View more on how this helps with your compliance and audit risk.
