Our Hybrid AI-Human Scribe offers the best of both worlds: AI-driven clinical documentation with a trained medical scribe overseeing and refining notes in real-time. This solution ensures fast, accurate, and highly reliable documentation.
AI-generated notes allow for lightning-fast documentation, while human scribes ensure accuracy, context, and nuance. This hybrid approach reduces errors and maintains high-quality patient records.
With AI drafting clinical notes and a trained scribe refining them in real-time, physicians spend less time on documentation and more time focusing on patient care. With certain EHRs, our scribes can even bill the visit for you at the point of service. This leads to better efficiency and reduced administrative fatigue.
Our AI-Human scribe solution works with ANY and ALL EMRs and can be customized to match your documentation preferences. Whether you need SOAP notes, H&Ps, focused notes, or detailed assessments, our model adapts to your needs.
By combining AI with human oversight, we ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations. The system is built with multiple layers of security to protect patient data while optimizing documentation accuracy.
Depending on your practice’s needs, you can adjust the level of AI vs. human involvement. For routine visits, AI can handle most of the work, while for complex cases, the human scribe provides detailed oversight.
Our hybrid model ensures you still have a human scribe overseeing documentation before it reaches the provider for final review, while being cheaper than a human scribe alone. Our hybrid model typically saves practices around 30% of the cost of a comparable human only scribe service.

Medical scribes are a non-licensed member of a medical care team. They specialize in medical record documentation and assist the provider with documentation and patient throughput. Though you'll be working with an AI directly, our human scribes are a quick page away should you need to speak with them directly. Our virtual scribes are still with you for every patient encounter, without taking up valuable space in exam rooms.
Scribes can do your documentation on your behalf, take histories from patients, assist with non-direct care of patients, etc. The purpose of the scribe is to make your job easier, whatever that may entail.
Scribes cannot do any direct patient care, enter orders, relay verbal orders, or write prescriptions.
With certain EHRs, the scribe can bill the visit at the point of service. See how this improves compliance and reduces your audit risk.
This service requires encounters to be recorded. Recordings are then transcribed by the AI for additional processing into a structured note. A human scribe then reviews the transcript and the generated AI note to ensure information is accurate within known medical context.
Should you need to speak with the human scribe, you can page them and they'll promptly call you back. If our human scribes have noted any discrepancies in the transcript and AI generated note, they'll call you. This allows for the scribe to ask questions in real-time if something isn't clear, ensuring that documentation is done correctly in a timely manner.
We work with each practice to determine what hardware will work best. This usually involves using systems already in-place at the practice, such as a laptop or iPhone.
Our pricing for the hybrid scribe service is tiered based on the number of providers covered concurrently over a 24 hour period. Our general pricing guidelines can be found below; however, pricing is tailored based on a practice's specific needs. Contact us for a more detailed quote!
