Virtual or in-person coverage

Codex Live

Real-time documentation coverage when the day is moving too fast for the backlog to be “tomorrow’s problem.”

What is Codex Live?

Codex Live provides real-time documentation coverage during clinic sessions and patient encounters. It’s ideal when speed, throughput, and same-session completion matter.

Good fit for

  • High-volume clinics with a fast pace or high acuity
  • 1:1 provider to assistant ratio is needed
  • Complex documentation workflows that require provider input in real-time
  • Practices trying to eliminate after-hours charting

Benefits of Codex Live Support

Keep the entire visit on rails, not just the note

Live support handles documentation and the real-time admin steps that derail clinic flow (quick chart prep, routing tasks, teeing up follow-ups).

Protect throughput when volume spikes

When the flow is moving fast, Live coverage reduces bottlenecks across the session so providers can keep seeing patients without the day collapsing into delays.

Close the loop before the patient leaves

Close the loop before the patient leaves

Live support helps ensure the “next steps” actually happen: orders and instructions are captured cleanly, follow-ups are queued, and handoffs are clear.

Reduce inbox blowback later

Flexible coverage that adapts to your reality

Better real-time capture and task routing means fewer missing details, fewer “what did we decide?” messages, and less post-visit clean-up.

Faster downstream execution

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at contact@codexgrp.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Codex Live supports English and Spanish. Other languages can be discussed with a custom quote.

Both. We’ll recommend the best fit based on your workflow and market.

CLSAs can do your documentation on your behalf, take histories from patients, assist with non-direct care of patients, etc. The purpose of the CLSA is to make your job easier, whatever that may entail. Our CLSAs can enter orders or prescriptions in your EHR for your review and approval.

CLSAs cannot do any direct patient care or make any clinical judgements.

With certain EHRs, CLSAs can bill the visit at the point of service. See how this improves compliance and your audit risk.

All of our virtual CLSAs are live and in real-time. A live service is not only more secure for patient privacy, but allows for the CLSA to ask questions in real-time if something isn't clear, ensuring that documentation is done correctly the first time.

With our audio only connections, the CLSA stays muted on their end unless they have a question. The provider typically mutes their end in between patient encounters and clinical updates.

We work with each practice to determine what hardware will work best. This usually involves using systems already in-place at the practice, such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or VSee.

  • For U.S. clients, our team members supporting your workflow live and work in the United States—we never outsource labor.
  • For international clients, we can staff your support using team members in your local country if preferred. We’ve found that local staffing often improves communication, cultural context, and patient expectations, which helps workflows run more smoothly.
